Anup is on a mission to simplify the learning process, making even the most coaching complex frameworks accessible and easy to grasp for anyone. Renowned for his ability to use metaphorical language effectively, he empowers fellow coaches to learn and grow at their best. This unique skill has earned him a place among the most trusted names in the world of coaching and coach training. He draws deep inspiration from the quote, “Give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish, you feed him for a lifetime.” He firmly believes in the inherent equality of all human beings—that no one is superior or inferior, and anyone can achieve anything they desire. For Anup, academic knowledge alone does not define a learned society. He advocates for real education—one that shapes our character and conduct as human beings. Learning and self-development, he believes, are fundamental rights, not privileges.
Driven by this vision of a more truly educated world, Anup took a bold step in 2018. He left behind a highly successful, 16+ year corporate career in sales and marketing—where he had already attained mastery—to pursue his passion for coaching.
In less than seven years, Anup has become a Master Certified Coach (MCC), recognized globally for his contributions to the coaching industry. Through his organization, Butterfly Coaching Academy (BCA)—founded in 2022—he has trained and mentored hundreds of coaches on their journeys to becoming ACC, PCC, and MCC credentialed professionals. BCA is an ICF-accredited coach training academy, currently approved for ICF Level 1 (ACC) and Level 2 (PCC) programs, with plans to soon achieve Level 3 (MCC) accreditation as well.
In alignment with his mission, Anup has partnered with the ICF Foundation and is currently leading his second cohort, offering scholarships to support diverse students from across countries in becoming certified coaches.
As an entrepreneur and coach over the past seven years, Anup has touched the lives of over 14,000 individuals through coaching and workshops. He has logged more than 4,100 hours of one-on-one coaching across personal and professional domains and has delivered hundreds of group coaching sessions for prestigious clients including Amazon, Vodafone, AU Bank, Axis Bank, UpGrad, and many more.
With an overall professional journey spanning 24+ years, Anup brings a rare blend of deep experience, proven expertise, and a passion for transformation—making him not just a coach, but a catalyst for lifelong learning and growth.
