Methodology

Albert Einstein said: “If I had an hour to solve a problem, I’d spend 55 minutes thinking about the problem and 5 minutes thinking about solutions. This quote by such a great mind inspired us to create an approach that is not only simple to understand and follow but empower individuals to focus on what’s more meaningful and important to look at, like to discover and define the problem is essentially more important than solving anything superficially since the effort and time may go waste.

When we started developing a coach training program way back in 2018, we were challenged to produce results for our clients using coaching as a methodology. We did intensive research by applying different strategies over a period of 2+ years and finally in 2020 we arrived at a simple 4 step framework which we named as i.K.A.n. This framework gives a strong structure and approach to any coaching conversation and helps the coaches to partner with the clients in a more effective manner that helps clients address what is right and sustain the action for a longer duration in an autonomous way, thus creating more sustainable approach which enables them to achieve higher potential and great results.

We tested this framework though various clients and coaches over a period of 2+ years, testing it with approx. 500+ clients in different capacities and the results were truly amazing and encouraging. We scored a rating of 9.6 on a scale of 10 in terms of clients observing the result achievement on a consistent basis in an autonomous mode.

This achievement encouraged us to pilot this framework on ICF core competencies and that’s where we begun with our first pilot cohort for ICF Level 1 Accreditation Program – Empowering and Transformative Coaching Program in May’22.
